We use persistent identifiers and referral tracking cookies (30-day expiration) to measure advertising effectiveness across our network.
Target ZIP searches. If you use the target ZIP finder for advertising, sponsored articles, or business directory listings, we keep the requested ZIP, approximate city and state, product interest, suggested communities and any suggestion you choose to help plan future markets. This is separate from your billing address. A random first-party cookie lasts up to 180 days and helps us avoid counting repeat searches as new interest. Research records expire after one year without a new search. We do not collect GPS location or sign you up for messages through that target ZIP finder. If you submit a business inquiry or order, the target ZIP may also be saved with that request.
Find your community. The main website’s resident community finder uses a ZIP code or, when you choose “Use my location” and allow browser access, your approximate location to suggest nearby community websites. Coordinates are rounded to two decimal places in your browser before being sent to our server. We do not save those coordinates, attach this search to an advertising lead or your profile, or change your advertising selections. You can enter a ZIP or browse by community name without sharing your location.
